"Are you going to eat those"

Two post in one day... This is truly a miracle seeing that I only had nine post since January of 2008. That's less than on per month. I'm sure someone is thinking, "new years resolution" while I'm thinking "a new way of living".

Blogging feels a lot like trying to loose weight. Blogging it's a lifestyle.

So this last wedding was my first Arab "reception" the actual ceremony was held at the brides house the day before with only the parents present or as wikipedia would state "the bride and groom agree on the marriage, and the groom is welcomed in the bride's house, although only with parental attendance, to maintain the purity between both sides", and there you have it.

We made some beautiful portraits on the grounds at Pala Mesa Resort while it was still light out but my favorite photos happened once the sun went down.

This was the perfect dress for Lana. It matched who she was perfectly.

If I can't play with my food I'll do the next best thing, take pictures of it.
This little guy loved having his picture taken. He would run into my frame any chance he got. Who doesn't love a little attention?

Don't you just want to sit down and have coffee with this guy?
It was late and I couldn't figure out what to do with the rings. That's when it happened, "are you going to eat those?" "Don't tell the bride she'll think it's cool later." I'm glad not everyone likes their veggies.

About Me

My photo
As a child I was the wild and crazy type. I desperately needed an outlet. Drawing might have worked had it not required so much sitting still. If only I had discovered photography earlier my poor mother would still have her natural hair color. (Sorry Mom) Photography is the creative outlet I was born to do. I love everything about it. It has taken me to so many places and allowed me to take part in the most significant moments of so many lives. I am a documenter of life.
