Cross cultural photographer
The Midwest is where I grew up, I can't hide it. Nobody want's to sound like an okie but it does slip from time to time through the occasional long vowel. Not to many okie's have been to Hochiminh City, Vietnam, where my bride was from, or even heard of it unless you were in the war. Most know the city as Saigon, but after the war the cities name was changed to Hochiminh City. Tianna's was so thrilled when she found out that I not only knew of it but had been there. An important part of any wedding is understanding the culture or at least a good point of reference. I don't claim to be "the all things knowing of Vietnamese culture", but it sure helped having spent a few weeks there. I would love to visit again soon! Check back and I'll try and post a few photos from my visit there.
Trung Dung did great work with the makeup. He is also the only makeup artist in over 60 weddings that not only did the makeup but sang a solo at the reception. Had it not been for him being exceptional at his performance on stage I would have thought this to be a bit strange.
Love the way the light shown through the sunroof on our way to the church in the limo it's as if it's giving us some reminder of who's day it was.
Shadows are always fun.Cute little idea instead of a guest book.
